What Causes Pain Above Collar Bone When Suffering From Cold And Cough?

I ve had a cold for about 4-5 days now. Stuffy nose, coughing, and sneezing. My glands were sore under my chin but went down. Now I have some pain but no swelling about two inches above my collar bone on each side of my neck. When I push around to check for lymph nodes it hurts worse. Can the pain be from my cold?

Hello ,

Thanks for consulting HCM

Read your query as you have cough and cold yes pain in collar bone can be due to cold and swelling of gland can be due to infection .
Dont be worried so much I will suggest you to do warm saline rinses 2 - 3 times a day and you can take tablet like Azithromycin by consulting with your local docotr .

Hope this will help you .
