What Causes Outbreak Of Red Rashes On Torso And Arms?
My husband is broken out in a red rash on his upper torso and down his arms. He s has been having chills. I think he has fever but have no thermometer. He is flushed and says he s very cold. He ate seafood yesterday and the day before. He s also having pain in his right side almost under his ribs round to his back. I wonder if he d gotten too much iodine in his system. Thank you

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of outbreak of red rashes on torso and arms. Well the symptoms you mention in query can occur due to many reasons like contact dermatitis , allergic reaction due to detergent, soap , fragrance , chemical, metal such as in jewelry, poison oak or ivy, an animal bite, or an insect sting and lyme disease . Need not to worry. Avoid touching or pricking these red rashes. I would suggest you to consult dermatologist for proper examination . Doctor may prescribe antihistamine , corticosteroid ointment and immunosuppressants , anti inflammatory . For now take benadryl twice a day , apply cold compresses , avoid direct sun exposure and avoid any cosmetic product .
