What Causes On And Off Bleeding With Pain In Ovaries?
I started birth control three months ago, the first two months I had normal periods while I was taking the brown pills, but for the past few weeks I've been bleeding off and on and have a lot of brown liquid discharge accompanied with pain in both my ovaries..mostly my left one..I will bleed red for a few hours then it will be brown water and hairy stuff..then I'll start bleeding red again..last month I was barely spotting at all for my period, I haven't changed my birth control or anything and I have been having a lot of pain...can someone tell me if this is normal???
HI, Welcome to HCM, I read your query and i appreciate your concern regarding this issue.
No it is not normal. But it can be a side effect of your Birth Control pills. I would Advise you to go for Ultrasound (pelvis),to rule out the cause of such kind of discharge and specially hairy stuff. After that consult with Gynaecologist for proper Examination and then treatment.
Hope so it will be helpful. You can write again in case of any query or follow up. Wish you good health. Regards
