Hi..
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..

As per your complain it seems that you are suffering from reflux oesophagitis and it occurs due to acid reflux from stomach to throat and mouth and it occurs when there is weakening of the band of muscle that are present on the lower part of oesophagus and contraction of the same leads to prevention of stomach acid from coming upwards..
The condition is definitely exaggerated by spicy, acidic and heavy meals, overweight or obesity, lack of physical labour and dehydration.
As you are now relieved better follow a few lifestyle and dietary modifictions for relief..
You should take small frequent meals like eating small portions of food every two hours, drink plenty of water, take antacid like Milk of magnesia or calcium carbonate which ever suits you half an hour before meals, take short walks after meals, avoid spicy food, take short walks after meals, if you are overweight try loosing some weight, take dinner atleast 2 hours before sleeping and sleep with head slightly raised as compared to feet..
Recline in left lateral position if you want to recline laterally..

Hope this information helps..

Thanks and regards.
