What Causes Odor From Belly Button During Pregnancy?

I m 27 weeks pregnant, I have noticed my belly button has a bit of an odor, I currently still have an innie. I clean it with a Q-tip because mine is pretty deep and notice the Q-tip comes out slightly wet and is just a tiny tinge yellow, like barely. I ve had belly button infections in the past, It s not really red or itchy but just wanted to know if it s something I should worry about.

Hello I understand your concern.
If there is some discharge from your belly button and its offensive, there are chances of infection. As you are pregnant these infection are no good. My advice is you should clean the belly button with antiseptic solution and let it dry. Then apply antifungal ointment deep inside the belly button.
Repeat cleaning with antiseptic solution and keep it dry.
Hope this will help you.
