What Causes Numbness, Pain And Purple Discoloration In The Feet?

When my grandmother woke up from her nap, she couldn t feel her feet it was numb. In a couple of hour she start have feeling in her feet and she have a tingling. It have been 2 weeks and her feet is hurting and she still have that tingling feeling. There is also purple mark on her food and leg, it will start out a red color like a rash and next it will turn purple. Can you please tell us what is going on with her.

I really appreciate your concern, from the history given here I could say that it could be allergic condition as long as the rash is concern, second the tingling could be due to nerve compression in spinal region, bot the conditions are different from each other, besides this diabetes could be the cause of these two clinical manifestation, until it is being diagnosed better to keep the leg in elevated condition, as her try to maintain the good condition hope this information helps.
