Pathologist and Microbiologist 's  Response
Hello and welcome to HCM,
A history of numbness in tongue, arms and hands suggests neurological disease process.
Vitamin B 12 can also cause similar symptoms of numbness.
Thus, complete blood work up and peripheral blood smear examination should be the first investigations required.
In case the hemoglobin levels are low, you need to get further tests depending on the peripheral blood smear examination.
If the blood picture is within normal limits, you need to consult a neurologist for clinical assessment and relevant investigations.

Thanks and take care
