Numbness on feet , shortness of breath and nausea are most likely due to pernicious anemia or malabsorption syndrome. Symptoms of pernicious anemia are due to a lack of red blood cells, which are vital to carrying oxygen to the cells of the body. Symptoms can include pale skin, shortness of breath, fatigue, dizziness, headache, cold hands and feet, heart palpitations, and chest pain.
A complete blood count (CBC), a laboratory test performed on a sample of your blood, includes a determination of your hematocrit (Hct), the percentage of the blood that consists of red blood cells. The CBC also measures the amount of Hgb in your blood.
Treatment of pernicious anemia generally includes monthly injections of vitamin B12. Some people may also need to take oral supplements and/or more frequent injections.

Regular medical care and monitoring of the condition and treatment of any underlying diseases, such as hyperthyroidism, celiac disease or Crohn's disease, are also necessary to ensure a good prognosis. We always have to be on safe side, therefore please go to your physician to run some screening tests such as CBC including serum Vitamin B12, Thyroid profile, Basic metabolic profile and serum electrolyte. Please avoid dehydration and try to take light foods for few days(Avoid heavy spicy and oily food to reduce stomach upset) and maintain good hydration as safety of patient is out first priority.
