Hi..
Can understand your concern..

As per your complain piercing of tongue can lead to inflammation and scaring of tissue and this can lead to feeling of numbness and pinching or pain feeling..

Other reason can be that while piercing there can be injury to terminal fibres of nerves supplying the tip of the tongue causing altered sensations and numbness..

If it is due to inflammation it will subside in few days..

Nerve injury can take a longer time from a few days to a few months and even more to improve..

In case of swelling or redness of tongue you can apply topical steroid gels for relief..

You can apply cold packs for inflammation control.

In case of pain Ibuprofen or tylenol can be taken..

Hope your query is solved..
