What Causes Numbness In Toes After A Foot Injury?

I have an injury on the top of my foot that required stitches. My pinky toe and the one next to it are now numb and all toes are cold. I cut a vien or something as I had blood spurting, lost a lot of blood and recieved no care for over 6 hours due to wait times. Is the numbness normal?

Neurologist 's  Response
Hello!

My name is Dr. Aida and I am glad to attend you on Healthcaremagic!

The numbness could be related to a damaged nerve during cutting. I recommend consulting with a neurologist for a physical exam. A nerve conduction study may be necessary.

Hope you will find this answer helpful!

Best regards!
