What Causes Numbness In The Toes?

I have been experiencing numbness in my toes. It originally happened only when i was playing tennis. Now it occurs much more frequently, even when I m barefoot or in any type of shoe (sneakers, heels, sandals). It doesn t happen while I m sitting or lying down

-change the type of shoes you wear might help.
-rest
