What Causes Numbness In The Right Lower Leg?

For a week now I have had no sensation in my right foot and lower right leg and part of my scrotum also on the right side. This all started after a cyst or boil burst on my scrotum during a shower. I have not been to see a doctor yet out of fear. I was wondering what this could possibly be. When I say no sensation, I mean I can t feel any pain or temperature at all and walking feels very strange because of it.

Orthopaedic Surgeon 's  Response
Hi,

A boil getting burst in the scrotum is no reason for this loss of sensation. There is a definite pathology, most likely starting from the spine and affecting the leg.

I suggest you get MRI of Lower spine and NCV Studies for both legs to arrive at a diagnosis.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
