What Causes Numbness In The Foot?

Hi, I woke up this morning and my foot was numb. My foot still feels numb ten hours later. When I walk I feel a vibrating/numbness like feeling in my foot. I seems like some bones might be rubbing together every time I move my foot. What can be causing this numbness/ vibrating feeling?

Physical Therapist or Physiotherapist 's  Response
Hello,

As the symptoms of tingling and numbness are related to nerve entrapment anywhere in its course an MRI of the lumbar spine and clinical examination by the physiotherapist is advised.

Post which exercises like - core stability, spinal muscle strengthening exercises, hip muscle strengthening exercises, static Quadriceps, and static hamstring should help yield the good outcome score.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care
