What Causes Numbness In The Foot With Pain In The Calf Muscles?

I am 52 years old, 67 , 180 lbs. I run about 18 miles/week on a tmill and use an elliptical when not running, 2 or 3 times/week. I am experiencing occasional numbness in my right foot along with tightness/pain in the right calf. Stretching has not helped nor has not stretching. I wear arch support in all my shoes and have for years and I vary my shoes when exercising and at work.

I really appreciate your concern, such symptoms of numbness and other could be due to uneven local compression of peripheral nerve and or it could be nonspecific but it is nothing to worry, just have rest for some time and it will be okay, take care while running or using tmill hope this information helps.
