What Causes Numbness In The Eyes After Using Vancomycin Eye Drops?
Hi my mother started vancomycin eye drops four days ago for an enterococcus eye infection in her left eye. She just told me she feels like her left eye is drooping and feeling numb. Is this a side effect?

No Vancomycin will not cause numbness . But it can cause lid swelling due to reaction of lids due to the irritation caused by the medicine . If she is having severe numbness then she needs to consult back with the ophthalmologist
