Hi Dear ,

As per you query you have numbness in mouth and dizziness after brain surgery . Well there can be many reasons for symptom you mention in query like physical nerve injury , nerve entrapment , neuropathy, diabetic neuropathy, multiple sclerosis and diabetes .

Sometimes numbness can also occur due to condition known as bell's palsy, but in your case the symptoms are probably due to nerve damage occur during surgery or as post surgery complication , so consult your doctor again . I would suggest you to consult neurologist for proper examination . Doctor will examine physically , order nerve conduction test and blood test .

Doctor may prescribe anti inflammatory , supplement like neurobion forte and recommend face muscle exercises and physical therapy . Doctor may also refer you to ENT specialist or dentist if he/she find problem to be related to respiratory track infection ear infection or oral infection . For now do warm saline rinses , maintain proper oral hygiene and take steam twice a day .

Hope your concern has been resolved.
