General & Family Physician 's  Response
your lower limb numbness most propabably due to damage to perpheral nerves due to diabetics. it may respond to drugs such as amitrptalin or gabapentin . vit B complex may also helpful.good blood sugar control is also helpful. according to your HbA1c report your blood sugar control is good. but as you are suffering with over weight it is better to increase metformin to 1000mg 3 times a day and reduce your insulin dose. so please consult a specialized general physician or endocrinologist .he will help you to modify your drug regime for diabetics.
