Hello!

Welcome on HCM!

I carefully read your question and understand your concern.

The numbness in the half of your head may be related to a lesion of the trigeminal nerve.

From the other hand a tension type headache can not be excluded, though this symptomatology is very atypical for this disorder.

I would recommend consulting with a neurologist for a careful physical exam and perform a brain MRI scan to exclude possible intracranial lesions, which may mimic this clinical situation.

Hope you will find this answer helpful!

Kind regards,
Dr. Aida
