What Causes Numbness In Hand After An Injection For Blood Test?
had some blood work done a week ago, when the phlob inserted the needle I felt a bad pain shoot down my arm and into my hand. After she removed the needle the pain went away but I had numbness in my thumb. If I move my are the wrong way now the pain comes back and my hand and arm goes numb. SHOULD I BE WORRIED?

I really appreciate your concern and looking to the history given here I could say that because of the very sharp needle end this could cause trauma to the microvascular system and to the micro nervous system in super facial region of prick side and this some time gives symptom of numbness, but this is nothing to worry this would come around, take care and have a nice day.
