General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi,

This may be sign of neuralgia usually so called trigeminal neuralgia and you should do neurological work up for further management. It happens when facial nerves become inflamed or irritate by various mechanical or metabolic issues. It may be lack of vitamin B12 or calcium so you should check these markers in blood too.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Iven Romic Rommstein, General Surgeon
