Hello,

The researchers evaluated whether the long-term use of proton pump inhibitors (PPIs) or histamine 2 receptor antagonists (H2RAs) was associated with vitamin B12 deficiency.

Vitamin B12 deficiency may lead to irreversible neurological damage and other complications if left untreated for a long period.

So, you may be suffering from vitamin B12 deficiency or cervical spondylosis with compressive neuropathy or peripheral neuropathy of unknown origin et cetera.

Please consult your neuro physician, he/she will examine for the cause and treat you accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Penchila Prasad Kandikattu
