What Causes Numbness And Tingling Sensation In Right Limbs With Excessive Sleep?

I have been having some strange and alarming symptoms that I cannot make heads or tails of. For the lst month, I have had weakness, numbness and tingling in my right leg and hand. It has cause 4 falls so far. I have been having drastic sort term memory loss and in the last 3 days, I have not been able to wake up. I can go to sleep at 8 pm and not wake up for any alarms or even to my husbands repeated attempts to wake me up until noon or even after that the following day. I am 39 and do not understand what these symptoms could mean but I am afraid. Thank you.

Hello and thank you for the question!
Such numbness and tingling sensation, can sometimes be benign and temporary. For example, it could result from pressure on nerves when your arm is crooked under your head as you fall asleep, and is soon relieved by removing the pressure that caused it. But sometimes this sensations can be severe, episodic, or chronic... In such cases, tingling may be a sign of nerve damage, caused by different factors. Basedd on the symptoms you describe, id suggest you to Measure the arterial pressure 3 times/day, for 3-4 days and to take an appointement with you Cadiologist and Neurologist doctor. Maybe the high values of your blood pressure, cause some damage to the blood vessels in the brain, wich cause the symptoms youhave.
Best regards!
