What Causes Numbness And Cold Sensation On The Fingers?

I went in for an ecg org ekg, not sure which on my right hand because my thumb and fingers are number and cold. I can t feel things in my hand when I pick them up. They told me that I have carpul tunnel, my wrist doesn t feel numb or bother me. Will carpul tunnel surgery take the numbness out of my finger. They are always cold also.

According to the symptoms that you have been explained in your case.your fingers and thumb has loss of sensation.when you are not feeling something in your hand thats mean you have no carpel tunnel syndrome,
this is perepheral neuropathy,
loss of sensation,sometimes it happens in diabetic patients
kindly check your diabetes,HB level,vitamin D levels,
I advised you before take any decision for surgery
