General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,
I understand your query.
The numbness in middle finger of hand/ pain in hand when over exerted-- indicates kinking/ pressure on nerve supplying the part.
The problem can be at cervical spine( spondilitis/cervical rib)/ local pressure on nerve ( carpel tunnel syndrome.)
You should consult an orthopedic surgeon to pin point the cause after examination/ xray/MRI. The specific treatment( in form of NSAID pills/ physeotherapy) given thereafter, would help you.
Thanks.
