What Causes Nosebleeds In Kids?

My 4 year old son has had two nosebleeds in the past few days. He had acute ITP when he was 13 months old, and I can t get the image of the kids in the pediatric oncology center where he was treated out of my mind. Is this worth a visit to the doctor for a blood test, or should I wait a few more days?
