Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
My 26 yo step son works out side in the sun and heat. He has after extreme heat and probably not drinking enough water while working very hard at strenuous labor had a nose bleed. I m concerned it could be a sign of big problems but he is unlikely to go to dr. Or hospital unless I have something real to suggest.
Understanding your concern. As per your query you are from nose bleeding after a heat stroke. Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query like infection , trauma , allergic and nonallergic rhinitis. , hypertension and use of blood thinning medications . You should not touching or picking nose with any sharp object. I would suggest you to consult ENT specialist for proper examination . Doctor may order CT scan , MRI and do physical examination . Doctor may prescribe antibiotics. Avoid sun exposure , stay hydrated and eat fresh fruits and vegetables. For now do icing of node and compress it for few minutest to stop bleeding .
Hope your concern has been resolved.
Get Well Soon.
Best Wishes, Dr. Harry Maheshwari
