What Causes Nodule On The Lung With Chronic Cough?
My mom, age 87, went into an urgent care today for a cough she has not been able to get rid of. They did an xray and told her she did not have to worry about pnumonia or anything. However, she had a nodule on one lung that they want her to check out immediately with her own physician. What could that be?

I really appreciate your concern, such suspected lesion need to be differentiated with the malignancy process this would be only matter of concern, hope this information helps, take care (Without the actual observation of x-ray film nothing can be said for sure, because "NODULE" may be misnomer )
