Hello and welcome to HCM, Night sweats associated with abdominal discomfort may be related or may be due to different pathologies.. Night sweats can occur in number of conditions like tuberculosis, thyroid problems, anxiety etc. The symptoms are not characteristic of any particular disease thus general physical examination and basic routine investigations have to be initiated. Complete hemogram is the first investigation required. Along with complete hemogram, abdominal ultrasound is also required to find out the cause of abdominal discomfort. Dry mouth and increased thirst are features seen in disorders of glucose metabolism. Thus, a fasting blood glucose is also recommended.
