What Causes Night Sweats And Cystic Acne While Taking Estradiol?
2 months post hsyterectomy. Moderate night sweats, tolerable, but painful cystic acne all over my face. Talked to the GYN who tells me to drop the HRT from 1mg to .5. That seems counter productive. Is the Estradiol not what is keeping the sweats at bay and should keep the acne away, if it were the correct amount? Should the dose go UP not down?

I understand your concerns. Female hormones cause acne ( that why girls get it after puberty) so estradiol needs to be reduced. Yes your night sweats and other post menopausal symptoms might not get reduced but you have said its tolerable. So do not worry
