What Causes Needle Pricking Pain After Blood Test With A Small Bump On Skin?

I had a blood test yesterday morning and when i removed the pad and tape last night there was a small mound in the skin and i was in a lot of pain. I had pins and needless in my hand for a while and i had reduced strength in my hand. I was awake most of the night due to the pain.Today the mound has shrunk but the pain at needle site is still there and I have a pinching pain on the inside top of my arm just beside the armpit. I have never had any of these symptoms after a blood test before.

I really appreciate your concern looking to the history given here I could say that because of the needle prick this might have happened the sharp end of the needle easily caused the trauma, but no nee to worry about this, because with proper care this would come around soon, take care and have a nice day.
