Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
My symptoms are neck pain, side of my neck sometimes my jaw, went to the Dr. And found small white little bumps in the back of my throat .. Gave me a z pack went back to the Dr. And still the same nothing has changed..can you tell me what it could be ?
I can understand your concern. The first diagnosis of any doctor in your case woukd be a possible throat infetion with bacteria so you were prescribed Azithromycin by your doctor to combat the infection.
However, as the medicine did not work for you, I can think of more than one possibilities. It could be apthous ulcers, viral infection, irritation by some food item or allergic reaction some allergen you might be exposed to.
In any of the above case, starting multivitamin treatment like B-folcin will help. You can apply local benzocaine gel (Mucopain) to the lesions which will give relief and promote faster healing. You can also start taking Rebagen tablet thrice a day which is specifically there to heal ulcers. These ulcers usually take 5-7 days to heal completely
I hope this information helps you. Thank you for choosing HealthcareMagic. I wish you feel better soon.
Best, Dr. Viraj Shah
