What Causes Nausea, Vomiting, Stomach Discomfort And Nasal Congestion?

I have been nauseous for the past week, I threw up about 2 times yesterday and once today, every time I eat I feel uneasy in my stomach and throw up soon after, as if my body is rejecting the food, now my nose burns and is stuffy and I just finished throwing up, what do i have?

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of nausea, vomiting, stomach discomfort and nasal congestion which is because of viral infection to your body and impaired immunity of your body. It could be viral infection. The symptoms can also occur due to sinusitis , strep throat or viral pharyngitis . Some times post nasal drip after sinusitis can also cause such symptoms .

I would suggest you to start with course of antibiotics and anti-inflammatory drugs. You should take combination of amoxiclav along with levocetrizine. Do warm saline gargles 3-4 times a day with lukewarm water. Take diet rich in fruits rich in vitamin C as it will boost his immunity. Avoid giving cold beverages .

If symptoms keeps on persisting visit ENT specialist once and get it examined and start proper course of antibiotics. Steam inhalation is another treatment option for resolving it.
