What Causes Nausea, Vomiting, Diarrhea And Abdominal Pain?

I have had nausea vomiting loose stools and diahrea along with severe abdominal pain and ive got hot flashes and co!d flashes and can barely keep anything down and this has been going on since August 1st when I had major lower spine surgery. I have not gotten better and the symptoms have gotten worse. I have seen a gastro Dr and had an endoscopy done where they couldn t find anything. What could possibly be wrong?

Hello,

Thanks for your query on HCM

"As"per your clinical history is concerned please follow like this -

1)Drink [oral rehydration solution packets]after every bowel movements to prevent dehydration due to motion. You can find it at any drug stores without a prescription.

2)Do check your stool for infection and do a culture as your problem is from august 1st,so take antibiotics as per culture report only.

You can do few preventive measures like this for future at home-

1)Wash your hands, utensils and food surfaces often. Wash your hands well with warm, soapy water before and after handling or preparing food. Use hot, soapy water to wash utensils, cutting boards and other surfaces you use.

2)Keep raw foods separate from ready to eat foods. When shopping, preparing food or storing food, keep raw meat, poultry, fish and shellfish away from other foods. This prevents cross-contamination.

3)Cook foods to a safe temperature. The best way to tell if foods are cooked to a safe temperature is to use a food thermometer.

4)Refrigerate or freeze perishable foods promptly within two hours of purchasing or preparing them.

5)If you aren't sure if food has been prepared, served or stored safely, discard it. Food left at room temperature too long may contain bacteria or toxins that can't be destroyed by cooking. Don't taste food that you're unsure about just throw it out.

Hope that helps
