What Causes Nausea, Vomiting And Headache After Flu Shot?
I had a flu shot yesterday afternoon around 2:00 I was fine until 5:30,then felt nauseous and had a headache. I vomited and then laid down and could only sleep for an hour at a time when I would be woken with sharp pains in my stomach. It has been 24 hours and I still feel awful. Is this normal and what can I do to make my stomach feel better? Thank you. Laurie
Hello Laurie, Dear it can be viral infection of stomach (entrovirus),which can cause these symptoms.you can treat it symptomaticaly E.g you can have acitaminophen pain killer, have steam at home to reduce congestion ,headache.Drink lot of water ,if you feel nausea ,vomiting and stomachache for that you may have esmoprazole 20mg two times. If you get fever spike ,get stool test and C.B.C to evaluate bacterial infection.
