What Causes Nausea, Mild Pain In The Left Rib Area And Dark Vomit?
I have nausea, dull pain in my left side near ribs, and I am warm. No BM in over a week. Doctor gave me Amitiza that makes me feel worse and I ve waited two weeks so far to schedule a colonoscopy. I ve had 4 blood tests all come up clean and today I threw up. It was mostly black. I did drink coffee but that was 7:30 this morning.

I think you may need a fybroscopy of stomach and intestine.
I think you may be having gastroduodenal ulcera. You should do it immediately to check the source of bleeding.
