I've been feeling really nauseous like heart burn feeling n been waking up randomly with pain in my stomach like where I use to gallbladder attack feelings but I had gallbladder surgery last year. any suggestions what is going on with me or if I should be getting something checked out??
Hi. Thanks for your query. Noted the history and understood your concerns. The heartburn, nausea and pain in abdomen in the upper abdomen in spite of gall bladder removal can be due to gastritis, may be due to birth control pill. I would advise you the following: Get started with a PPI like Omeprazole, Domperidone to control nausea and heartburn, antacid get every three hours. If no relief consult your Gastroenterologist to get an upper GI Endoscopy, ultrasound of abdomen and tests of stool and blood. This will give you the most proper diagnosis. As for the periods problems, consult your Gynecologist for clinical evaluation, examination and may be change over to other forms of birth control.
