What Causes Nausea Followed By Fainting?

I felt like I was going to throw up and then I ended up collapsing on the floor. I felt like I couldn t hear for a minute or two. My husband gave me a wet cloth to cool me down and after a few minutes I felt better. This has never happened to me before.

Hi...
Can understand your concern..
As per your query about nausea followed by fainting can be due to hypotension and hypoglycemia or early pregnancy etc which can simple reasons for fainting but if there was also loss of consciousness you need to go for an EEG by consulting a neurologist as it can be a seizure attack..
I suggest you to avoid prolonged standing and and remain hydrated to avoid postural hypotension and hypovolemia and take proper rest.
I also suggest you to get you blood pressure checked.
I hope the information helps you..
Take care.
