What Causes Nausea, Chills And Sore Stomach After Eating Cheese?

Hi, 5 nights ago I ate some parmesan cheese and strawberries that I bought from the grocery store. Shortly after I became extremely nauseas, got the chills, and had a sore stomach. Since then I have been very nauseas constantly, have had sore/crampy stomach, have had no appetite, and have barely been able to eat anything which is unusual for me. The severe nausea, sore stomach, and loss of appetite have persisted for several days now. Could I have gotten food poisoning? A parasite? What else could be causing this?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

You suffered from nausea, chills and sore stomach after eating cheese, it is indicative of allergy, The cheese was not good and it caused you mild food poisoning. To detox, take plenty of water (boiled and cooled), freshly made soup and juice. Take food good for the liver and food that is easily digestible. Avoid red meat, cheese, packed food, frozen food, full fat dairy products, spicy oily food, etc.

Take home made nutritious food. Avoid stress and take adequate rest. You can take liver tonics, Liv-52 or natural food that will elevate hunger like papayas (well cooked). Take PPIs, Pan-40, once daily for relieve. Get clinically examined to detect any enlargement of the liver. Get blood workouts and liver function tests done. This is to stay on the safer side. You will be treated accordingly.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
