What Causes Nausea And Headaches While On Nexplanon Implant?

I have had nexplanon implant for a year and I had some side effects such as heavy period, nausea but once I adjusted I was fine, now all of the sudden I have been having a lot of nausea and headaches. Could this be the nexplanon even though it s been a year?

Hello,

I can understand your concern. As you have adjusted well with the Nexplanon implant, I do not see that implant as a cause of your recent nausea and headache episode. There are many other reasons that can cause you nausea and headache like inadequate sleep, heartburn, abdominal discomfort or food poisoning, vertigo etc.

I would advise you to visit a physician for physical examination to reach a specific diagnosis for the problem. Medicines can be prescribed after reaching a conclusion regarding the disorder.

I hope this information helps you. Thank you for choosing HealthcareMagic. I wish you feel better soon!

Best,
Dr. Viraj Shah
