What Causes Nausea And Fatigue Along With Tinnitus While On Percocet?

I have been taking Percocet 10/325....one every six hours for over four months as prescribed for back problems. In the last week I have been feeling sick on my stomach with weakness throughout my body and a shuddering type noise ringing in my ears. Should I be alarmed? I don t like this feeling at all.

Hello,

I would not recommend using Percocet for such a long time, because it can lead to addiction and tolerance. For this reason, I would recommend switching to Gabapentin or Duloxetine for the pain.

Regarding the weakness, it could be related to low blood pressure. For this reason, I recommend you to closely monitor your blood pressure values.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr. Ilir Sharka, Cardiologist
