What Causes Nausea And Bladder Pain Radiating Towards Right Arm During Urination?

I a 68 year old female with a history of UTIs. I ve had cystocele surgery over a year ago if that helps. Every time I attempt to urinate when I have a UTI the pain in my bladder radiates upward causing a quick sensation of nausea and then it radiates down my RIGHT arm into my ring finger first and then spreads to the other fingers. With a severe UTI (with both blood and pus in the urine) after the right arm it will travel to the left. I am tired of doctors telling me they never heard of this or implying I am crazy. I may be crazy as much as the next person, but not about this. I tried to research this myself and discovered that hundreds of other women also had the exact same symptoms and no one listened to them either. I do NOT take pain killers of any kind except aspirin due to allergies. This can be verified by my PCP. Other relevant history that might help: Broke lower L5 vertebra and shattered L5 disk, herniated L4 & L3 disks in 2008 followed by emergency surgery. Had a transvaginal mesh inserted during cystocele surgery in 2014. Torn rotator cuff surgery in 2001 with severe RSD complications eventually followed by a bolos being inserted in my upper spine to reduce swelling. Other surgeries, decades prior, and 4 healthy live births.

Hi, Such type of pain may occure in diseases of bladder and it is known as refered pain. It is felt at shoulder, even at clitoris and inner thighs. Recurrent UTI is common in females but one thing should be ruled out if you have any bladder outlet obstruction, interstitial cystitis or urethral caruncle. Eat plenty of cucumber and coconut to get symptomatic relief.
