General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

Symptoms you mention have several causes. Most meds have these common symptoms as side effects. A hiatal hernia as you mention can also produce these symptoms except for diarrhoea.

When you speak about diarrhoea associated to these symptoms, rings to bell, it can tell us about a probable inflammation of the digestive tract.

So, we are now speaking of a probable gastroenteritis that we need to rule out, to stay with symptoms attributable to side effects of your medications.

Taking into account, for the medications you take and the underlying diseases that you present, being your doctor I would suggest performing a stool test, urine test, and complete haematology.

However, it would be good to do thorough a physical exam.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Luis Alberto Urdaneta Arenas, General & Family Physician
