Hi,I am Dr. Amitkumar Sharma (Internal Medicine Specialist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have been taking trulicity for 4 weeks now. I am so nauseated that I can barely work. Is this normal? I had used Bayetta and could not hold food down. Victoza worked well but my insurance company will not let me have it. Also it seems that the side effects of Trulicity peak out during the middle of the cycle. Is this normal?
Nausea is a common side effect. It would not surprise me. BUT it is most common with metformin and someone on those drugs you mentioned would almost always be on that one. if no matter what drug you tried you have a side effect maybe the side effect is there all along.
