What Causes Nausea After Eating Post A Laparoscopy?
Had laparoscopy 3 weeks ago. Had adhesions removed that were attached to my colon and pulling it down. For the last week everytime I eat or drink something no matter what it is I become nauseated. I am also having diarrhea with this. No other symptoms. Could this be caused from my surgery?
As you had laparoscopy surgery before three weeks then there is little chance of having this nausea or diarrhoea due to complication of surgery. It might be due to some other infection.
You should do some blood works,ESR,electrolyte and ultrasound abdomen to rule out any intestinal infection.
You should take treatment like antibiotics, analgesics, antispasmodics and antiemetics to subside this symptoms.
You should consult your operating surgeon for complete treatment.
