What Causes Nausea Abdominal Pain Below The Navel?
My 8 yr old son has been sick over 5 weeks with nausea and abdominal pains just below the belly button and to the right and left.He had ultrasound which showed acute mesenteric adenitis nearly 2 weeks ago .he is still feeling unwell but it comes and goes throughout the day but worst at 9 pm and first thing in morn. Also after eating the pain comes on ..he has missed 5 weeks of school .he was prescribed losec x 2 weeks and motillium x 10/7 .motilium didn t help at all . Anyway I m. Wondering how long more it takes to recover?

As a first line management, you can take analgesics like Paracetamol or Aceclofenac for pain relief.
If symptoms persist better to consult a general surgeon and plan for an ultrasound scan.
