What Causes Nasal Odor?

I have had a bad odor in the right side of my nose that smells like decay for about 2 weeks now. When I try to blow my nose not much comes out then only blood, when I blow it the second time. It first started in my lower jaw. I don t have dental problems at the moment either nor do I have bad breath! What cold be wrong?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Dear;
Nasal odor is usually associated wid local infection and in some type of rhinitis as ozaena which is caused by klebsiella bacteria.
But as ur giving a history of blood discharge also I will recommend u to viti a EnT specialist to rule out any other diseases.
U can have course of antibiotic like augmentin along with anti histamines.
If doesn't resolve than visit a ENT specialist asap.
Thanks
