What Causes Nasal Congestion Without Any Discharge?

I have an adult male feline that has been treated for respiratory issues, but his nose still sounds congested all the time and there is no discharge what so ever and never was any discharge. He has been on numerous antibotics and nothing seems to help. His vet wants to run a respiratory test for several virus, but when I look them up they all say nasal discharge, which he never had in the first place.

Hi, thanks for your query. Nasal allergy can sometime cause Nasal congestion without discharge. Nasal decongestant drops + steroid nasal spray + saline nasal douching will be helpful. Hope my answers have helped you. Thanks.
