What Causes Nasal Congestion And Pain In Nose In Children?
Hello Dr. My son is 13 yrs old and is complaining about stuffy nose. Pain in nose, around eyebrows and eye. He has always stuffy nose. My husband s family has sinus problem(hereditary). I am in between jobs and new insurance starts july 1st. I am scared to leave him with this pain and stuffiness. is there anything I can do until we see dr sometime next month.

The symptoms seem to be related to nasal congestion. I suggest to use a steroid nasal spray to relieve the nasal congestion. I also suggest to use decongestant such as Dexometorphan. I recommend to do a sinuses X-ray to confirm sinusitis and take proper treatment.
