What Causes Nasal Bleeding With Fever And Sore Throat?
Hi, my left side nose has blood, not sure if it is caused by dry air. Last 2 weeks, I had nose-bleeding at the early morning and I had fever after that. Not sure it was caused by sore throat or there was inflammation in nose. Until today, there is still blood in the left side nose but it doesnt bleed. Any advise on this? I am a guy and 26 years old. Thank you for your help.
Hi Thanks for psoting on HCM Nose bleeding is very common due to the presence of very superficial blood vessels under the nasal mucosa. The location of these vessels exposes them to irritants and may easily bleed.Possible causes of nose bleeding may include: trauma, exposure to warm, dry air for prolonged periods of time, nasal and sinus infections, allergic rhinitis, nasal foreign body, vigorous nose blowing, cocaine use......
If another episode of bleeding, simple external nasal compression may help.If bleeding persist, you see the Doctor for adrenaline nasal packing. As for the blood clot still in your nose, just let it be.It will fall off with time and may pose no problem. However, if you remove it, it may start bleeding again. Hope this will help Best regards
