What Causes Muscle Weakness While On Epidurals For Herniated Disc?

I have a herniated disc in my cervical spine, C7 . I had two epidurals and with continuing exercise I now have after months no pain. I do a lot of weight training and notice I still have muscle weakness when I do chest press and lifting over head on my left side. Is that permanent or will I regain my muscle strength over time?

HI
Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, if the disc degenerative disease is sever one then it may needs surgery, otherwise it is nothing to worry, for the muscular weakness physiotherapy is the option and with this muscular tone will be return to normal if the weakness is due to some pathology, or neurological disease hope this information helps.
